Piston 3096682 is the 14.5:1 compression piston body for Cummins K19, KTA19, K38, KTA38, K50 and QSK series heavy-duty diesel engines. Standard bore is 159 mm with three compression rings and one oil control ring. Cast in high-strength alloy aluminium with a reinforced skirt and crown to resist thermal cracking under sustained full load, each piston weighs about 4.98 kg.
